At the conclusion of this course the participant will gain knowledge on the following:
1. How to protect a wood based building against mold, mildew, termite, and fungal decay.
2. Become familiar with conditions in wood that make it susceptible to mold and mildew.
3. Understand why interior wood components require protection against mold, mildew, and insects.
4. Understand the potential impact to mortgage and insurance rates with a mold reduction program.
5. Understand the impact of mold on indoor air quality.
