Spray Polyurethane Foam Roofing Systems and Sustainable Coatings for Commercial Buildings

In this one hour live course, we will review spray polyurethane foam and best practices when utilizing SPF in your designs. This course will specifically highlight how SPF performs in terms of installation and cost savings, sustainability and renewability, and aesthetics. This course will conclude with a brief Q&A session to check for comprehension.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Define components and applications of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing systems
  2. State the advantages of specifying SPF systems for roofing applications in terms of reusing existing roofing materials in coatings, reduction of carbon emissions, lowered operating energy, and life cycle
  3. Discuss the purpose of a coating system used on top of SPF Roofing and how solvent-free silicone coatings contribute toward weatherability and longer life cycle of a spray-foam roofing system
  4. Identify how to properly install a sustainable spray-foam roofing system
