American Institute of Constructors

The American Institute of Constructors (AIC) is a non-profit professional association dedicated to promoting professional excellence, ethics, and individual status within the construction management field. Founded in 1971, the AIC serves as the premier qualifying body for the industry, administering the rigorous Constructor Certification Program which awards the Certified Associate Constructor (CAC) and Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) designations. Through its educational foundation, scholarly publications, and strict code of ethics, the AIC works to elevate individual constructors to the same high professional standards and recognition as other disciplines in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
