Trish Brindle has spent over a decade in the steel industry, with experience spanning HR, hiring, logistics, sales, and professional education. In her favorite role yet, she works closely with architects, engineers, and spec writers to explore smarter, more efficient approaches to fireproofing structural steel.
With a particular focus on prefabricated fireproofing solutions like the Fire Trol system, Trish helps design teams maintain design intent while meeting code requirements—without the headaches of messy field-applied fireproofing. She’s passionate about sharing her knowledge so designers can have the desired aesthetic they are going for, while reducing long-term maintenance, improving durability, all while proving that fire-rated structural steel can be both practical and good-looking, which is often accompanied by a few well-earned “why didn’t we think of this earlier?” moments.
